A graduate of Johnson & Wales and a veteran of acclaimed kitchens internationally and on both coasts of the United States, she was awarded the Best Pastry Chef Critics Choice Award (2007) from San Francisco Magazine while at Bar Tartine in San Francisco, and prior to founding the Glass Jar she was the Executive Pastry Chef at the three Michelin star recipient restaurant, Manresa, in Los Gatos, California.
ZachFounderzach@theglassjar.comAmong other things Zach has been a filmmaker, bagel maven, and tech guru at a San Francisco internet startup housed inside a nightclub. From Amsterdam to Cairo, Barcelona to Beijing, he eats street food wherever he can, whenever he can.
He holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University of California where he developed a deep understanding of the interactions of financial, social, and environmental capital, and a BA from the The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington in Comparative Religion and Cultural Anthropology.
He plans to eat lunch at POPUP every day.
